MotoGP™ World Champion Jorge Lorenzo has been given the all clear to take part in Saturday morning’s Warm-Up session ahead of the Iveco TT Assen. The Yamaha Factory Racing rider returned to the circuit on Friday, having undergone surgery for a broken left collarbone in Barcelona during the early hours of the morning.
The Yamaha Factory Racing press release reads as follows:
‘Following a medical examination this morning by the Assen Medical 
Team and the MotoGP Medical Director, Yamaha Factory Racing's Jorge 
Lorenzo has been declared fit for the morning Warm-Up session.
A further medical check will take place following the morning 
session to assess the World Champion's ability to compete in this 
afternoon's race.’
