The Brazil Under-20 starlet has committed his future to the Blaugrana by signing a two-year extension to his existing contract.

Barcelona have successfully concluded contract talks with promising youngster Rafinha Alcantara and have announced on their official website that the attacker has signed a new deal until June 2016.

The 20-year-old's previous deal was due to expire in the summer of 2014 and a number of clubs were closely monitoring his situation at Camp Nou.

However, Rafinha has now ended speculation about his future by inking a two-year extension. His new contract includes a €30 million minimum fee release clause.

Rafinha is a product of the Barcelona youth academy and made his official first team debut in November 2011 in the Copa del Rey win over Hospitalet.

He has mainly been plying his trade with the Catalans' reserves so far, helping them to eighth place in the Segunda Division in 2012-13 with 10 goals in 36 appearances.
